On June 24, 2019, the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) officially announced a product exclusion process for List 3 of the Section 301 tariffs, which imposes 25% tax on US$200 billion worth of products from China.
The full list of impacted products can be accessed here.
June 30, 2019: USTR will begin accepting exclusion requests through a new web portal.
September 30, 2019: Deadline for submitting exclusion requests.
USTR is requiring more extensive information for List 3 product exclusions than it did for Lists 1 and 2. The full questionnaire is available as an annex to today’s Federal Register Notice.
