According to a US International Trade Commission (USITC) notice published on August 4, 2017, the USITC has determined to remand an initial enforcement decision issued by an administrative law judge (ALJ) in the enforcement proceeding in Certain Network Devices, Related Software, and Components Thereof, Inv. No. 337-TA-944. The decision by USITC could instigate additional rulings by the presiding ALJ (Shaw) that may have an impact on enforcement actions under Section 337.

Our sister publication, the Global IP & Privacy Law Blog, further elaborates here on the USITC decision to remand the initial ruling.
