On October 3, 2021, Roper Technologies, Inc., a publicly traded (NYSE: ROP) diversified technology company, announced that it reached a definitive agreement to sell “its TransCore business to Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd (“ST Engineering”), a global technology, defense, and engineering group, for $2.68 billion in cash.” TransCore “develops and continually innovates traffic management and tolling systems across the globe.” (Id.)  The purchase agreement was entered on October 1, 2021, and is subject to the “authorization from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (“CFIUS”) . . .” (Roper Technologies, Inc., Form 8-K, Oct. 4, 2021, SEC Filing.)
