On March 13, 2019, Oaktree Capital Group, LLC, a California based asset management firm, entered into a merger agreement whereby it and its wholly-owned subsidiary Oslo Holdings LLC, will survive as subsidiaries of Brookfield Asset Management Inc., a corporation incorporated under the laws of the Province of Ontario.
